We should begin by explaining that Wolf Greenfield is a professional corporation, not a partnership, as most people tend to think of law firms. This is why our “partners” are called Shareholders and the head of our firm carries the title of “President and Managing Partner”.
The firm’s Executive Committee (“EC”) is charged with making policy decisions for the firm. The current EC members are Tim Oyer, President and Managing Partner, Shareholders Ed Perlman and Randy Pritzker, and Executive Director, Bob Edwards, who is responsible for managing the firm's daily operations.
We are organized into seven primary practice groups:
| Practice Group | Chair/Co-chairs |
| Biotechnology | John Van Amsterdam |
| Chemical & Materials Technologies | Rob Walat |
| Electrical & Computer Technologies | Rich Giunta and Randy Pritzker |
| Litigation | Michael Albert and Mike Rader |
| Mechanical Technologies | Neil Ferraro |
| Pharmaceutical | Ed Gates |
| Trademark & Copyright | Doug Wolf |
and seven interdisciplinary groups:

| Interference | Larry Green |
| Internet and Domain Name | Michael Albert |
| IP Transactions | Steve Henry |
| Nanotechnology | Tim Oyer |

The administrative side of the firm is divided into six departments under the direction of our Executive Director, Bob Edwards.
