Andrea J. GabertAndrea Gabert assists the firm in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution in areas related to chemistry, including organic materials and chemistry, chemical processes, polymers, pharmaceuticals, and devices. Andrea’s scientific background includes inorganic, organic, organometallic, and polymer chemistry. Representative Matters
Previous Experience
Andrea received her doctorate degree at MIT under the supervision of Prof. Richard R. Schrock, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, 2005. Her doctoral research included organometallic catalysis and the synthesis and characterization of chemical compounds and polymers. More specifically, her research focused on the synthesis of triblock copolymers containing liquid crystal mesogens and their application as devices. Before entering graduate school, Andrea participated in the cooperative education program at her undergraduate institute. Her research experience through this program included food product testing, organometallic research, and the development of drug analysis methods. Professional and Civic Activities
