Brandon S. Blackwell
Brandon Blackwell assists the firm in patent prosecution in the areas of microfabrication, chemical processes, microfluidics, and power generation.
- Assisted with preparation of patent applications in fields such as microfluidics, chemical processing technologies, medical device design, catalysis, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Provided assistance with patent literature searches and analyses for freedom to operate patentability studies.
- Assisted with patent prosecution in fields such as microelectromechanical systems (MEMS,) polymer processing, ceramics, and semiconductor processing.
Brandon’s doctoral work focused on designing, fabricating, and testing a microfluidic fuel processor for portable power generation using MEMS fabrication techniques. He attended the David H. Koch School of Chemical Engineering Practice where he worked for General Mills and Johns Manville. Prior to graduate school, Brandon also designed a unique emissions capture system for a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company.
