Kevin M. Henry
Kevin Henry assists the firm in patent prosecution in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries.
- Supply technical expertise to investors as part of due diligence on prospective acquisitions.
- Provide prior art searching and patentability analysis to clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
- Work with research scientists in reviewing invention disclosures.
Before joining the firm, Kevin was a medicinal chemist with Encysive Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Pfizer), where he developed small molecule antagonists of G-protein coupled receptors.
Kevin also worked in the oil and gas industry as a senior chemist with Nalco Energy Services. There he provided technical and logistical support for the pipeline integrity program at British Petroleum’s (BP) oilfields in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
Kevin’s doctoral work focused on key aspects of aflatoxin biosynthesis in Aspergillus fungi.
