Rob Jensen assists in patent prosecution in the electrical, semiconductor, and software industries.

• Helped large semiconductor company conduct in-depth evaluations of asserted patent portfolios, and assisted in providing defensive opinions (including noninfringement and invalidity).
• Successfully prosecuted appeal before USPTO to remove obviousness rejection relating to invention in wireless communication space.
• Applied semiconductor fabrication experience to various patent matters such as patent application drafting, patent prosecution, and patent litigation support.
• For small technology company, drafted claims to cover infringing software product.
• Argued appeal before Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences at USPTO.
• Performed patent prosecution and patentability analyses for major universities.

Rob’s graduate studies focused on the areas of electromagnetic waves, DSP, power electronics, and electromechanical systems. He served as a research assistant and developed coating techniques to improve electrical component performance and reliability in extreme environments.
