Michael Rader and Inna Vitol Secure Notable Pro Bono Victory

Representing a pro bono client before the Department of Unemployment Assistance, Litigation Group co-chair Michael Rader and Inna Vitol overturned an earlier adverse unemployment compensation decision. Mike’s cross-examination of his client’s former manager, as well as the manager’s manager, led the Review Examiner to conclude in an August 4, 2011 opinion that “the employer’s testimony was inconsistent and … was not credible.” The Review Examiner found that the employer had made “false allegations” and had “created a hostile work environment” that justified our client’s voluntary separation and entitlement to unemployment benefits.
