Jeremy Sharpe assists the Electrical and Computer Technologies group in patent prosecution. He has extensive knowledge in the areas of distributed computer systems, networking, computer architecture, and machine learning.

Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Jeremy was a patent agent at Ropes & Gray LLP. As a research assistant at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Jeremy focused on expanding the synthesis of efficient parallel program implementations. Prior to that, as an undergraduate at MIT, he partnered with doctors at the Veteran’s Administration to develop a low cost monitoring device to prevent spinal cord injury patients from developing pressure ulcers.
  • Drafted patent applications related to software, hardware, machine learning, medical devices, and mechanical structures.
  • Prosecuted patent applications in the United States and abroad in a wide range of areas, including medical devices, wired & wireless networking, computer memories, oceanographic exploration, machine learning, healthcare automation, and other software applications.
  • Conducted freedom-to-operate and due diligence searches for products being commercialized by various clients.
