Wolf Greenfield Raises More Than $37,000 in Funding for Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS)

Intellectual property law firm Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C. announced the firm raised a total of $37,448.00 in funding for Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) this year through the organization’s annual Associates Fund Drive Program. That total represents the most raised by 46 participating law firms this year, and the highest amount raised by any single law firm in the history of the drive.

“We are very proud of our associates and technology specialists in leading this effort, and to all of our team who participated with them,” said Wolf Greenfield Managing Partner, Tim Oyer. “This significant achievement underscores our commitment to providing underserved members in our community with access to critical legal services."

In addition to participation by the firm’s associates and technology specialists, two Wolf Greenfield attorneys were instrumental in raising the bar for the firm to secure an unparalleled amount of funding for GBLS this year. “I would like to extend a special thank you to our own Chelsea Loughran and Mike Rader, who raised the bar for other associates and shareholders in the firm by committing to match funds at a significant level. They were instrumental in our achievement, which we hope will serve to raise the bar for other firms in the community, resulting in a record-breaking Boston GBLS drive next year.” said Oyer.

Each year, the associates of nearly 50 Boston-area law firms participate in the GBLS Associates Fund Drive. The drive raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to provide legal services for those in need. The Associates Drive was started by associates themselves in the 1990s as a grassroots fundraising effort.

Greater Boston Legal Services provides approximately 13,000 low-income people in Boston and the surrounding cities and towns with high-quality legal assistance each year and continues to achieve significant legal victories on behalf of deserving families.
