Wolf Greenfield Associate Christina Licursi Named "Up & Coming Lawyer" by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
We are pleased to announce that associate Christina M. Licursi has been recognized as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Attorneys selected as “Up & Coming Lawyers” have been members of the Massachusetts Bar for 10 years or less, yet have already distinguished themselves as rising stars in the practice of law. Christina will be honored at a reception in Boston on May 10, 2018.
"We are very proud that Christina is being honored among the best up and coming lawyers in the region," said Doug Wolf, chair of Wolf Greenfield’s Trademark and Copyright Group. "Christina’s commitment to innovation is one of many driving forces behind her legal focus and community contributions. She is passionate about helping businesses grow and thrive, and that passion makes her a particularly effective advocate for our clients and an excellent member of our team."
As an associate in Wolf Greenfield’s Trademark and Copyright Group, Christina focuses her practice on trademark prosecution and litigation, including representing clients in federal courts across the country and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She advises clients and international associates on branding strategies and understanding the business and legal risks associated with the adoption, use and registration of trademarks.
Christina manages complex international disputes, negotiates settlement agreements, handles global policing and enforcement efforts, including targeted cease and desist campaigns as well as global enforcement efforts through customs. She also handles copyright issues, domain name portfolio management and related disputes, as well as social media and Internet matters.
Christina is deeply involved in the startup community in the Boston area and currently sits on the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge (MITEF) Board of Directors, which drives the strategic vision of the organization. She also serves as co-chair of MITEF’s Innovation Series, where she is responsible for developing the organization’s thought leadership programs.
Christina received a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a master’s degree in public health from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a B.A. from Colgate University. She is actively involved in the Boston Bar Association as co-chair of the IP litigation section and in the Boston Patent Law Association as trademark committee chair.
