Cara Dawson focuses her practice on US patent prosecution and counseling in the biotechnology space. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of antibodies, cell biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, polymers, materials science, and chemical engineering.
Most recently, Cara was a biotech patent paralegal in Wolf Greenfield’s biotechnology group. She has drafted patent applications for a variety of firm biotechnology clients. Cara also has extensive experience conducting freedom-to-operate, landscape, and patentability searches.
Prior to Wolf Greenfield, Cara was a patent agent at a law office in Washington, DC. While there, she prepared, filed, and prosecuted US patent applications through the USPTO.
Cara’s interests include cycling, tennis, running, traveling, and NFL football.
