Yifan Fang assists Electrical & Computer Technologies Practice in patent prosecution. She has extensive knowledge in atomic and optical physics, quantum physics, opto-electronics, and semiconductors.

Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, Yifan completed her doctoral research at Stony Brook University in the laser cooling lab, where she studied the characteristics of a novel optical force. As a Licensing Specialist intern at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), she assessed the patentability for several semiconductor related inventions including a chip manufacturing technology. She was also part of a team of BNL researchers that won first place in the 2021 National Labs Accelerator Pitch Event.
