Kira-Khanh McCarthy focuses her practice on a wide variety of trademark and unfair competition issues including trademark prosecution, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, trademark investigation and enforcement, and federal litigation.
Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield full-time, Kira was a summer associate at the firm in 2019. During law school, she externed at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. At the TTAB, Kira assisted in matters including inter partes contested motions, concurrent use, and accelerated case resolution. In addition, Kira previously served as an extern at the USPTO where she conducted legal research related to US and international copyright law. Her experience also extends to artificial intelligence copyright matters and privacy law.
Kira graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she focused her studies on intellectual property law. Before attending law school, Kira was a department coordinator at a Washington, DC law firm, where she assisted with USPTO filings and patent prosecution.
