Technology Specialist Summer Internship
For undergraduate and graduate students looking to gain experience in patent law, we offer a technology specialist summer internship. Our tech spec interns gain hands-on experience by participating in a wide variety of work with our technology specialists, patent agents and attorneys. Examples include meeting with inventors, drafting patent applications about their inventions, and responding to Patent Office inquiries. We pair each summer intern with a mentor who will provide support and guidance throughout the internship. Throughout the summer, there will be opportunities to learn about new and exciting technologies, to work closely with experts in the field of patent law, and to understand how intellectual property plays a vital role in shaping a company’s business.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Program. The summer internship program is a 10-week internship that runs in conjunction with our Summer Associate program from mid-May through the end of July. For more information on how you can engage with us when we are on-campus, look for us on Handshake or contact your university’s career services office.
Candidates who wish to be considered for the Firm’s Diversity Fellowship must also fill out the required application form. For more information about the Diversity Fellowship, click here.
